Last night’s reported launch of a Trident Missile from the submarine USS Kentucky is an uncomfortable reminder of the fact that a very unstable individual, at least from the perspective of the continuation of America in its present form, has his hand on the our nuclear button. It’s clear that the decision to launch this supposed “test firing” at the time of day and location in which it would be most visible was intended to send a message to somebody and that any declarations that it was just a normal test firing by the government are simply more obfuscation, more lies and more treatment of us as little children who have no right to know what their “government” is doing in their name. More importantly, we have no way of knowing what they might actually be doing to us.
